Heirloom Memories
Each wedding gown or
garment is preserved in a clean, dry, environment that is carefully
protected from outside contaminants.
The MAPP (Modified Atmospheric
Preservation Process) is a unique process. Modeled after techniques used by
the ancient Egyptians who preserved their deceased royalty by sealing them
in dry, humidity-free tombs, they created a similarly controlled environment
for each garment they heirloom. After thorough cleaning and finishing, each
garment is:
- Placed in a climate-controlled room (75° temperature
and 45% humidity) for at least five days.
- Hermetically sealed in an airtight, moisture-proof
display case.
- The display case is injected with nitrogen, a
natural preservation gas, and permanently sealed.
- The display case is placed in a designer carrying
chest for additional protection.
A LIFETIME WARRANTY is included;
while sealed, it is warranted for the lifetime of the originally named owner
of the gown against:
- Mildew, Mold or Bacterial Growth
- Insect Infestation
- Attic Heat
- Moisture
- Dust
- Fading and Age Discoloration (excluding trim)
- Rot and/or deterioration
Cleaning is available for extra
dirty items. The company will contact us if they feel wet cleaning is
necessary. They do not make major repairs; they do make minor ones and
replace some missing beads. If there are any stains, please let us know what
the stain is from….
