Pothos (Scindapsus)
Temperature: Average warmth – minimum 50 – 55 F in winter (60 F for S.pictus argyraeus).
Light: Well-lit but sunless spot. Variegation will fade in poor light.
Water: Water liberally from spring to autumn – let compost dry out slightly between waterings. Water sparingly in winter.
Air Humidity: Mist leaves frequently.
Repotting: Repot, if necessary, in spring.
Propagation: Take stem cuttings in spring or summer – use a rooting hormone. Keep compost rather dry and leave in dark until rooted. |
